Midsomer Murders is not racist, says Anthony Horowitz

Midsomer Murders is not racist, says Anthony Horowitz

Anthony Horowitz, author of the best-selling Alex Rider novels, said it made perfect sense that villages in the fictional county of Midsomer should have no black faces.
He was responding to the comments of Brian True-May, executive producer of Midsomer Murders, who was suspended on Monday for claiming that the ITV1 detective drama was "the last bastion of Englishness" and asserting that ethnic minorities have no place in English villages.
